Michael Petersen (I can't get this to show up under your comment so I'll try it here) :) Anna Lee was in S of M 33 years after her first movies in the early days of talkies in 1932 according to IMDB. She was in plays before and during her 71 year span of tv and movies. She was born in 1913. David Lewis was born in 1916 but didn't start in tv and movies until 1949.

This was the ending to the show on Friday, March 18, 1983. Cliffhanger Friday ended here with Tolliver giving Jimmy Lee the papers, an aspect they focused on for the next three days.

Jimmy Lee is acting like he is in love with Celia and knew her for years! :) I remember the Tolliver and Jimmy Lee scene!

It's interesting how they tried expanding the Q family in the 1980s with Alexandria, Celia, and Jimmy Lee...and yet none of them lasted more than a few years each. Jimmy Lee's case is a bit surprising, as while the other 2 were just Quartermaine cousins, he was Edward's son! You'd think they would have recast the role at least and kept him around even after the first actor left. Funny enough we never saw Tracey interacting onscreen with her other brother, did we?

I'm referring to the fact that this is the Susan Moore Murder Storyline, and that it is practically wrapped up now, with maybe a couple of episodes to show reaction or some such. Of course, that is all up to pxlbarrel, but to post the story with Grant Putnam DVX agent in a youtube series entitled "Susan Moore Murder Storyline" is kind of silly. People wouldn't know to look for it.

@AmandaRules4ever Lila was played by Anna Lee, who passed in 2004 at the age of 91. One of her first roles as an actress was that of Sister Margaretta in The Sound of Music. David Lewis played Edward until 1993, and died in 2000 after a long illness. Quartermaine was probably based on Allan Quatermain, hero of H. Rider Haggard's King Solomon's Mines. Like Cassidines and Carringtons, it's a great soap opera dynasty name.

LOL Well, there is still more to the Susan Moore Murder. I don't have much of the Grant Putnam DVX stuff since I try to concentrate on the Quartermaines. I'm not sure what will be next after this but it might be just a few small clips that people have been requesting and then a break. LOL

I think there was an older movie with a character Alan Quartermaine. I think they borrowed it from that.
