THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Oh, the memories this brings back to me. I started watching GH in about '71, and took a 'break from about '78-'85 (missed the Frank Smith era) while working and while in the Navy. Watched from late '85 (always watched while nursing my sons) until now and I never miss an episode nowadays. I so enjoyed this video, saying to myself "I remember him or her and, I know that story". Such nostalgia. I paid attention to the dates of birth and death of my favorites; so many were born in the oughts. Anna Lee was my absolute favorite, partially because she was a 'golden age' film actress who acted with Boris Karloff and Rex Harrison, and had a part in "The Sound of Music". How can you get better than that??? General Hospital brought in Best of the Best! How wonderful but how sad is it that GH is one of the only soaps left on the air after all these years. Please give us an update in the future.

I started watching in 1964 maybe … big sister got me hooked on the Cynthia-Phil-Jessie story. I remember Lucille before Audrey came. Lucille was the oldest (and crankiest). Watching this, 55 years later, I see how the actress really was. All perception. So many really good stories. Don't watch much anymore, ever since they made the gangster the hero, but I do check in from time to time. But this video was truly like a time machine.

I watched it and it was just a new show and I am not sure how you feel about it but in the beginning it got me thinking about it because it was boring the same thing everyday jessie was always angry with her husband for cheating on her but she was older than him and I thought she would have married dr hardy and I remember Robin from the beginning but the show got to a point where I. Knew what was going to happen and I stopped watching all 4 soaps since I started nursing school in 1993. St Philip 1yr lvn program then in the last 2mo. Of lvn school I started RN program at sac and finished in 1994 and stopped working in2011 due to Parkinson's disease I was 70yrs old I just got my license for new York and had a job waiting for me but I couldn't go since I was dx with Parkinson's and couldn't drive any more that was the the hardest thing I had to do was to call my travel agent and retire

what is so rare about this tribute, is that it makes an effort to remember people behind the cameras, the producers, writers, even the musical director and they should not be forgotten by anyone who really cares about this show, its legacy or longevity. These actors would have nothing to do without those less famous but equally dedicated professionals.

This was a beautifully produced tribute. Great thanks to all who worked on it, I can only imagine how tough it must've been to gather and edit. But it so well reminds us how large and talented and beloved the long-lasting family of "General Hospital" is... how it is for all soaps of its kind. The genre might be changing - and one day, might be gone - but its far-reaching impact will never be erased from our culture. Certainly, you will never forget what this show meant simply to you. Bravo, GH

Thank you for your kind words. This was a one-man production. For the past five years, I combed over every GH magazine, article, clipping, cast list, press release, etc., that I could get my hands on to compile a list of those who had appeared on the show and were no longer with us. This video went live on 3/25, I was discovering actors and adding clips right up until that morning.

Damn! This is an amazing video. If a character wasn't beloved to me, then the actor was. I had forgotten so many of them, and seeing them brought a wave of nostalgia and affection; even for the characters we loved to hate. What a huge cavalcade of stars made their way at some point through Port Charles! This was fantastic (and a little emotional) to watch.

She and Anthony Geary kept not only me watching but my brother's frat house too, lol! While I sometimes swear I'm going to stop watching if they do this or that to a character or couple (this whole Jason/Sam/Drew 3-way, love Jason but she needs to grow up and be with a good husband and father to her children and not someone who will take Sonny and his business over all of them), I'm still watching. Maxie breaks my heart and I cried with her over Nathan - this just goes to show how great Kirsten Storms is - just love her

I don't remember the character of Marco Dane on GH. A crossover maybe? So sad when he died. All the rest as well. GH has always paid tribute to their fallen on screen as well as off. That is why they stay on top!

The Marco character did a crossover from OLTL to GH back in 1989, when he was running some type of scheme with Tracey

Marco ran around with Felicia when she had amnesia. He was also probably running a con with Tracy, but I remember him with Felicia and Decker mostly.

So many amazing story lines just flashed by with the passing of these wonderful actors. I also wish they would expand on the Webber/Hardy family and have some balance with multiple families on the series. I love the Quartermaines and Sonny and family but let's get some more of the old family name characters to be front and center. They need to bring back Scotty's daughter Serina and give her a family. Bring back Sarah Webber with a family. Of course I would love for Jeff Webber to return, he and Duke are my all time favorites.

The way it end this video was the way it had ended the episode with Doctor Steve Hardy walking from his office to somewhere to pay tribute to the actor who had played him.

So many died so young, what happened? I had no idea Mae Clarke was on this show. What a nice tribute, thank you for posting.
