In my opinion, killing off "Alan Quartermaine" was the biggest mistake in the history of "General Hospital". Stuart Damon deserved to play that role until his own death. I've read, that when Stuart Damon & other cast members read the script killing off "Alan Quartermaine", he & everyone were shocked. There was even some protesting to the producer, director, & writers from other cast members about this tragic storyline.

@gibbdreamer Mary Mae Ward wass married to Bradley Ward Sr. They had a son Tom & she had a son Bradley Jr. with Edward. Tom's daughter is Keesha. Bradley Jr.'s kids are Justus, Faith, & an unnamed daughter.

@Mackomission well there's no more Lucy or anyone like her....just the characters arent the same as they were before; all there is is the mob life and pretty much everyone is connected; maybe they'll bring it back in the future

@ 1464nickel: That's because TPTB didn't want this show to be anything but Sonny and the mob storylines. This show lost its *GH* name a long time ago. It's a shame too because it was fantastic with so many storylines all wrapped up into 60 minutes (the mob storylines included).

Not when his character of "Alan Quartermaine" was killed off of "General Hospital". He returned many times as his "ghost". Stuart Damon died years later. 😢

I was in love with Beau. ♥️ I wanted to ride Lady Quartermaine’s wheelchair and find her a bathroom because all the Smokey glaze in the Victorian Mansion I was scared for her not knowing where a bathroom was. “Mommy is our Grandma not ever going to find the potty? I help her Mommy? Take me to see Cord?” And Cord showed up at our local Mall. It was serious.
