I remember an old scene between AJ, Brenda and Jason Quartermaine, before the Quartermaines adopted Emily. Brenda used to be like family to them and AJ & Jason told Brenda she officially their sister, because that’s how they see her. It would have been better writing if AJ was disgusted over this and went off on Brenda. We didn’t get enough scenes of him being a protective father

ALSO - Carly is completely justified and right about what Brenda was doing... she did use Michael to mess with Carly.... Every mother would have been upset that Michael slept with Brenda - especially knowing all the history - BRENDA was absolutely treating Michael badly here... I don't care what anyone says.

I was such a fan of the return of AJ storyline. I was not happy with Billy Warlock's take on AJ and how he harbored such a deep resentment of Jason. I know it was justified, but I'm glad that Kanan erased that part of AJ and came back to Port Charles as a new man

I am disgusted with everyone in this scene, except Carly. AJ is a joke of a father. I know what Carly and Sonny did awful things to him, but I cannot see myself wanting to raise a child with him when this is how he reacts to his son in distress. I get that he hates Sonny and Carly and this is a satisfying moment for him, but he should have offered some support and wisdom, and not act like his frat brother. And he should realize how sick this situation is. Brenda was his step mother! He's disgusting. And speaking of which, Brenda even pretending to sleep with Michael is despicable. She's despicable for pretending to sleep with him to get back at Carly, she's despicable for not taking into account how this would affect Michael, and she's an idiot for not considering Sonny in all this. Did she really think that Carly wouldn't tell Sonny? Why the hell wouldn't she? Carly definitely got the last laugh in this conversation. And Michael disappointed me too.
