Can I just say how much I am loving seeing those 40-50 something veterans being used, being used in a fun interesting layered story and being used in a fun interesting layered story that does not involve their children's love life? We complain often enough about the show that I wanted to stop and take the time to thank the writers for, whatever else we might have criticism about, give us such fun stuff with great actors we love and have known for decades.

Soap operas started losing ratings when they started focusing too much on very young characters. Soap operas have wild storylines and older experienced actors do a much better job at pulling them off

Robert Nicholson You are right. Believe it or not Alexis is 63 and Anna will be 60 in Oct. Mike Corbin is 76.. Monica has been around a long time. Since I am 64 I love seeing older actors. More than that I think they have more experience and give the soaps a maternal and paternal feeling. Bold & Beautiful lack that feeling because most of them are so young.

The Shiloh storyline needs to end, RIGHT NOW!!! And that whole plan Ava and Kevin have going will only make Ava fall for the man she thought she fell in love with in the beginning, and I do not ship Ava and Kevin in the slightest. Kevin is better off with Laura, so I hope this plan begins to bear fruit soon or else I fear Ava may seduce Kevin somehow and that could spell big trouble for Kevin and Laura's marriage.

Kevin was all tears when he told Laura how sorry he was to have betrayed the person he loves most in the world her & how he was getting professional help to try to help him stop trying to control everything because it only get him in trouble. Laura forgave him for everything telling him he's a good man that did a stupid thing but she still loves him very much & she wants him to work on himself at their home with her helping him. He was taken aback that Laura had already was wanting to start over like nothing happened & that he's getting help that means he's wanting to better himself. He tells her he'll never betray her again that he loves her so much & wants to come back home with her. If Kevin should do anything to betray Laura again especially with another woman,he's managed to keep Lucy at bay he should be able to keep Ava at bay as well by keeping to his word if she doesn't stop with her seduction moves he'll shut the whole thing down he'll lose her forever she isn't cheating with anyone & she in no way would do anything to break the vows she promised him to stay faithful & she loves him only so she would never betray him like that. Kevin was betrayed by Lucy when she cheated on him in front of The Whole Nurses Ball with Scott so she embarrassed the he$$ out of him & he walked out & the actor left the show for a longtime until he was permanently brought back to be a love interest for Laura as he wanted to act with Genie he loves her but he didn't want to return to go down the Lucy/Kevin road again as he'd done that many times before. He wanted to do new storylines & work with different people so he's thrilled to be doing his evil twin brother storyline! Obviously Kevin was badly hurt over the fact his wife could cheat on him so for him to do any such thing to Laura after feeling so much pain when he went through it that it almost destroyed his life it would be so out of character for Kevin to do such a horrible,hurtful thing to the woman he says makes him the happiest man on earth. That would be devastating to Laura she'd never trust another man again! Kevin would be the worst of the worst,a skank in every form of the word if he hurts Laura in anyway betraying her trust after she just forgave him for not telling her about Ryan. I will also be done with #GH if this is to happen to break up #KevLaur permanately seeing they've been separated for the most of 15 months which is so disgusting for the fans to have to trust TPTB to put our favorite couple back together so that they can have some happiness for awhile this is beyond ridiculous for any storyline to keep a popular couple away from each other and separated for over a year and a half. Again #GH I'm done if what I've said in anyway happens because it will be so insulting to the actors,the fans & for all the work we've put in to vote,twitter,writer etc. to put our #KevLaura on the map as a very beloved couple & we love Genie*Jons chemistry together,their a genuinely real couple who communicate & love each other & enjoy life together. Their a breath of fresh air that's very needed on this show!

Laura is going to have trouble with Ava because she is going to start having real feelings for Kevin.,.. Like she is now. And they need to hurry up and do away with Shiloh. Forget Sam, she had plenty of chances to get that pledge. She just looking for excuses to stay going to DOD to spend time with Shiloh creepy Ass

Not at the expense of Laura & Kevin's marriage I don't! Laura went through hell as well with all that Ryan did to LuLu,pretended to be her husband & told her he didn't have feelings for her anymore & wanted a separation then a divorce not long after she came home. He wouldn't hardly touch her was very nasty to her broke her heart into tiny pieces thinking he was Kevin when he was Ryan & the fact he hooked up with Ava sleeping with her,living with her & wanting to divorce Laura to marry her you've got to be kidding! Laura suffered terrible loss of her husband,almost her daughter & no one feels sorry for her! She's the one that showed Ava compassion when KiKi died & Kevin(Ryan) was already sleeping in Ava's bed(Ava didn't care one ounce about how hurt Laura was & the fact that Ava just walked right into a relationship with Laura's husband without one ounce of protest(great person,not) Laura was their for her again when she thought Ryan was going to kill Ava on the bridge so she raced over their with Jason in hopes to save her & Jason shot Ryan off the bridge & Ava brokedown & went hysterical how that man was the only man that ever excepted her for herself then she found out who he really was & that he killed KiKi then went into he bed with her to have an alibi on the night of the murder. She felt used,abused & Laura held her,cried with her,hugged her & even told her she'd get a car to come take her home or wherever she wanted to go & how sorry she was that all this happened & how they were both lied to & betrayed but she forgave Ava everything & even when Laura gave her the flowers for Kiki death as a sign of sympathy Ava couldn't believe she was being nice to her it sort of shook her up after she's sleeping with Laura's husband Laura was still being a caring person. Bet Ava never had another woman act towards her like that before,just showing kindness after being hurt by that person. Laura is always going to be the forgiving person with a heart that's just part of her. She'd never hurt Ava the way Ava's acting with Kevin right now knowing she told Laura she'd never go after Kevin because he looks like his murderous brother but she's trying to make Kevin with Ryan's best qualities into the same person she's losing her mind! #GH #GH56

Right?! I'm in Canada and live and work here, and I can say there is no snow on the ground here in Ontario this time of year. My dad chimed in as well since we watch the show together. The writing for GH needs a revamp I feel, perhaps an entirely new set of new, experienced writers who can follow the storylines through to the end, make them easy to understand and not have plot holes everywhere. I love GH to bits, but hate how the writing has diminished a bit over the years. So yeah, some fresh faces in the writing division would be nice, and if budgetary issues are a problem, might as well hire me since I could make some killer storylines I feel, and I would find an appropriate way to end the DoD storyline and do it faster than what the old writers probably intended.
