I’ve been watching GH since 1968 when I was 12 years old. My other half and I were extras on the show when we were living in Charleston SC in 1985. They were remotely taping there for the wedding of Terry and Kevin. We were on the set for a few days, and it was the highlight of my life long love of the soap opera. Kristina Malandro and Jack Wagner were quite cozy while they were there, which was fun to see. I have a photo album of all the pictures I took of the cast. I had gotten my Mom and then my Dad into watching GH once they each retired. I think my Dad was the one who was really hooked on the show! 🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵

Alot of comments about B.J. it's amazing that the original B.J. was able to reprise her role as B.J. and I noticed that she looks alot like a younger version of Bobbie. (Although, Bobbie wasn't B.J. s natural Mother. I would love for her to get her just due and get offered a role on General Hospital. She couldn't be B.J. but perhaps she could play a relative . Perhaps a cousin or something similar. Something along those lines. She is a beautiful and talented actress who would give General Hospital a breath of fresh air!

70, 80 , and 90's was the heyday of GH. Each character had a full life. They worked, spent time with friends and family, fought, mystery and intrigue, etc. Today, it is more about non-stop talking. You don't see the real connection between characters. GH gets rid of the older characters who are the heart of the show. I still watch but really miss the heyday.

I wish somehow they could say that Barbara jeans last words were BJ's coming for me. That would make the story full circle. But I don't know how they could incorporate that unless they say she's in a car accident like epiphany and that the Tiffany spoke the last words to a state trooper or a doctor that was there

What got me is when Bobbie said until BJ comes for me too. Hopefully when they write Bobbie off the show they somehow have both Tony and BJ (be cool if it's the original) waiting for her. And if Luke's really dead have him there as well and maybe even Georgie. That way all those actors can be part of her send off. RIP Jackie/Bobbie. We will miss you.

So, when it happened I was FLOORED. That entire storyline was unreal , gut wrenching and heartbreaking. I remember Bobbi was off making out with I think Julian Jerome and Tony couldn't find her. And Alan comforted Lucy even though he hated her. They killed off BJ and Maxie got her heart. Good Lord, that was an amazing storyline. One ofmy all time fave GH storylines.

Every time I see GH totally and unnecessarily destroy a character (recently Julian Jerome) I always think of Tony. I couldn’t believe how utterly they destroyed his character and after shredding him apart and have him become basically despicable they tried to redeem him. By then it was to late. No matter what the writers wrote, Tony couldn’t comeback from the hole he sunk in when he got with Carly. I really liked when the actor (Brad Maule) came back to have a fatherly conversation with a grown up Lucas about a year and a half ago.

Why can't they write powerful scenes like this anymore? I mean, over 15 minutes and it doesn't get tired. Nowadays we get more like 2 minute throwaway scenes that aren't even worth that long.

I never liked Tony. Just wasn't my cup of tea. But this death scene was probably the most REAL death scene I have ever seen. Brad Maule, you could tell, was really crying, fighting back tears. Tony LOOKED half dead throughout that scene. And, people often see deceased loved ones as they are dying. Yeah, I may have other more 'sentimental' favorite soap death scenes, but I think this was the closest to real that I have ever seen. Great acting, Brad Maule!

Tony was my mother's last straw....after he had suffered like his third head injury...my mother stood up and said..."I'm done with General Hospital...I can not watch them hurt Tony anymore!" ...She stopped watch and when I told her a few years later that they had killed Tony off...she nodded...said..."mmhhhmm....I'm not surprised..... well i was always curious to say what would happen to tony next. but i agree with your mom. they really SCREWED him up way too many times. and after he went crazy and kidnapped baby michael, and then after they let him go for a year in 1999, i quit watching it altogether. and then when he came back a year later, and this is all according to wikipedia btw, they gave him less screen time, and the story lines that did involve him were really stupid, like bringing back stavros cassadine from "the dead"

What? No mention of Tania? Surely she could have been with BJ to meet Tony after all she was the love of Tony's life and BJ's mother.
