This is when Laura returned to Port Charles in 1993 after being away for 10 years. It was the first time since Lesley died that Laura came back home. Yeah, song chosen because the wind was blowing in the cemetery scene :)

I actually quit watching GH in the late 80's & didn't start again until Lesley returned so I recently went back & watched 1993 - 1996. After seeing this scene w/Laura I knew I needed to get myself some dvd's from that time! Throughout Laura'a return up until Lesley's, Laura frequently remembered Lesley. She remembered her when she delivered LuLu. I adored Laura & Lucky's relationship & wish Laura were around to have this kind of relationship w/LuLu. In my world 2002 was just a bad dream.

Wow, this is just..I do not find the fitting words in english for that... intensive, sad, amazing, beautiful, heartwarming...just wow...I don't know how you all see it, but even if I know of course that this is only a show and that it is the job of an actresse that we feel it like it is real , but I find you can feel here that Genie Francis has a special connection to Denise Alexander ...she played that with so much feeling, positive respect/ tribute..just wonderful.

I knew this would be a sad one. I cry everytime I watch the cemetary scene. GF acting in this scene was phenomenal & really was my inspiration! I really wish GH would have stayed true to the characters of Laura, Rick, Lesley & even Luke!

I am so hoping that Denise will return for the 50th! It has not been announced and it is getting closer I just really hope they are keeping it under wraps. Laura is back, Lulu is missing, Rick is coming back from the dead........perfect time for Lesley to come back and is very alive.

Lesley was supposed to have returned in 1993, BUT something happened and it’s qs delayed a few years. Even Laura mentioned to Robin how she thought it was odd that Lesley didn’t have a date on her headstone, but that comment never went anywhere, though it was supposed to have been a lead-in to Laura investigating and finding out her mother was alive.

I have a playlist called Lesley returns. I don't have it complete yet but you will get the gist of it. Lesley returned in 1996. The story goes that when the accident occurred in 1984 Helena injected her with something that would make her appear dead. Once Bobbie & then Rick saw the body and it was taken to the morgue the body was switched & Lesley was held captive by Helena.

Stephan is the one who did it. Helena ordered it. Lesley was supposed to return in '93/'94, but something happened and she didn't until '96. Funny that when Lulu was born, Lesley's ghost appeared....

I can not give this a thumbs up nor down. Killing off Lesley was a huge error to begin with. Bringing her back was ludicrous, not only because of the manner in which it played out, but also in the fact that the writers did not know what to do with her once she came back. What was the point? And it was this haphazard, inane plotting that put yet another nail in the proverbial coffin for just how I used to admire this show. If I was still a faithful viewer when some idiot in charge decided that Rick Webber was a hideous, amoral murderer from day one, I would probably have kicked the t.v. screen in.

Yes, that is the original Jonathon Jackson!! He is the BEST Lucky! He was also the last one. Between him were Jacob Young and Greg Vaughan. Rumor has it they are recasting the role again. Oh how I wish Jonathan would reprise the role not sure what he's been up to since Nashville is done.

She was drugged by Stefan Cassadine and held captive for 14 years. Stefan gave lucky clues in a game that led to lesley. Luke and Laura found Lesley and Laura faked her “death” so they can get Lesley out. Once the got back to town the whole town turned on them so Laura lesley and lulu went to Switzerland so lesley could get the treatment she needed.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Lesley was supposed to have had a much more prominent story when she was found to be alive but a change in producers or writers changed that. Even though she's not seen very often though, I'm glad Denise Alexander came back - she's an awesome actress and STILL beautiful! ;)

It was sad, she was such a vibrant character to the show. When they brought her back she just kinda was there, but no real story. Her life to Rick and there family was destroyed.

Lesley is Laura’s mother. She had her when she was a late teen, with her collage professor Gordon gray, lesleys father told Lesley that Laura was stillborn because he wanted her to finish her studies and become a doctor. But current gh is making it out to be Gordon who told Lesley Laura was stillborn.... Laura went on to live with the vinnings and they had Amy that’s how Laura and Amy are sisters. Lesley found out Laura was alive when Laura was 12. And got custody. Laura missed her adoptive mother and Lesley let her go back. Only lesley then husband, Cameron. Paid them to move away and keep Laura away. A few years later Lesley found Laura in a cult and recused her with help from Rick Webber. Rick and Lesley later married and Rick adopted Laura. Laura married Luke and Bobbie is Luke’s sister Laura’s sister in law. Lesley “died” because helana cassidine ordered lesleys death because Laura visited Nikolas or tried too. Turns out Stefan cassidine was keeping Lesley hostage. Hope this helps I’m 18 and just started to watch it. Try Wikipedia. Under “Lesley Webber” and “Laura spencer” you get the back stories.
