General Hospital "Night" Opening, January 2016 Update:

I own nothing, I collect nothing.
The family of General Hospital icon Laura Collins (played by Genie Francis) is in the process of being replenished-son Lucky Spencer (played by Jonathan Jackson on contract) recently returned to GH, daughter Lulu Spencer (to be soon played by Alexa Havins on contract) isn't far behind, and son Nikolas Cassadine (played by Adam Huss on recurring status) made his first appearance in some time a few episodes ago.
With that in mind, I decided to revisit Francis/Laura's own full-time return to General Hospital in November 2015, when she was signed to a three-year contract after nearly a decade popping on-and-off the GH canvas. In January 2016, GH's "Night" opening was updated to feature Francis/Laura's image-her first appearance in any GH opening since the fall of 2002.
(Fans of Luke and Laura might have enjoyed an opening sequence reunion, but Luke's portrayer Anthony Geary retired in July 2015 and his image was removed from the opening a month later.)
Francis/Laura would vacate the opening in March 2018 as Francis and GH reached a contract impasse, but by that December Francis was re-signed and back in the sequence.
Other changes in this update: Anthony Montgomery (Andre Maddox) is added to Version 1, while Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford) joins Francis/Laura in Version 2. Both Montgomery/Andre and Turner/Curtis began airing in November 2015.
Departing the opening is Tequan Richmond (T.J. Ashford); Richmond announced in April 2016 he'd been dropped to recurring status-seemingly by choice-some time before that. Version 3 remains unchanged from the previous update.
One last change that maybe three people in the world noticed: Billy Miller (Jason Morgan, later Drew Cain) has a slightly different image from the same reel. Previously, his arms were crossed with a slight smirk. Here-no arms, no smirk.
