I agree with you on the GH Ambulance opening. I play it all the time because of the classic memories that were Golden Age when I was younger but they had to move on because it was too dated for the new audience. That's my thoughts. Does not mean I speak for everyone.

Oh man! Just seeing the buildings and the iron gate from the first intro takes me back to my Grandmas house and Summer time. Then the music started and I literally hummed it note for note. The 80s were so laid back in a way, but almost magical for those of us who were children back then.

I was only 5 when I already thought that the introduction was quite short. And my guess of why the 'view' stopped at the building and 'General Hospital' emerged from the exact same direction, I thought that it was unknown to the ambulance driver that he drove right by the hospital totally lost and unaware that he missed it. Like- 'It was right there!"

The actual hospital they use for the opening of the show is LAC USC Hospital and it's one that trust and believe you don't want to be taken too.
