Who is not able to understand the meaning of lean army : it's a cliche "lean and mean army" as we call this concept. The whole point is to shift your paradigms from WW era ideologies and upgrade your forces with respect to modern 21st century warfare. To upgrade we need capital, either put new money or you can achieve it by reducing wasteful expenditure such as reducing Khacchar Mk1 like things. we can put those money to achieve technological advancements. We just don't need brave men but the combination of brave men and machines to win the war. Hence lean and mean army.

Please define a lean army😮. Does it mean no logistics or no army😮. These chaps are going the Nehruvian way. They don't even know how to fight. They think attacking barren mountains and getting soldiers killed is a great achievement. Our generals are living in WW one days.
