I have a Yukon Denali with a 6.2, and the reason would be to make it quick. 400 hp in an SUV gets it going nicely.

@Tracert 5840 sure, but the whole point of a hybrid is to get better fuel economy. We have a 6l hybrid silverado and it gets out of its way but gets 23mpg max.

@@_multiverse_ Better towing ability, but mostly a gimmick because it has much higher torque and horsepower figures than the 5.3 this was an "upgrade" over.
