Kindly clear me one thing, does general tyres really damage suspension especially of imported cars. I have installed general tyres 165/65 R14 about 4 months ago on japense wagon R 660cc. Sometimes I faced noise and little jumps even on smooth roads . Especially a person sitting on back seat feal so uncomfortable. The mechanic suggest me to install soft tyres. What will you suggest me. Is it due to hard genral tyres?

No it is not the case. General tyres are a bit hard and you will only feel it when you pass your vehicle on bumps and pot holes . Otherwise they are fine and they dont damage the suspension as long as you have installed the correct size. Suspension hurts when you install tyre size of greater size than recommended. General tyres are hard but not that much as people says. Positive side of general tyre is that they are best value for money tyre you get what you pay They have warranty They are not that hard to get you can easy get replacement of a single tyre as well Last but not least they will give you 60000 km millege

I recommend my customers General tyres and they are really satisfied. Instead of buying any XYZ chinese brand I always prefer general as it comes with warranty and they are being manufactured locally. Secondly most of the end user drive their brand new car with general tyres and they change their tyre after completing 50-60 thousand kilometers.

People are not dumb my friend. The sound issue was very bad with General tyres and it also had poor road grip after just 10000 km of travel. Market mein reputation kisi waja say he bana karti hy product ki.

@@ARDYNAMICSTYRES may be it has been improved now somewhat but I'm sure you get my point that the market is the biggest judge of any product and brand. This General tyre didn't recover from the reputation which it has developed throughout the years. My cousin installed these tyres 3 years ago and had to change them because of high road noise. He changed these with Yokohama and was very happy with that. I used soft and hard tyres and I can tell u with confidence that a soft tyre is leaps and bounds ahead of general and bridgestone hard tyres. Hard tyres destroy the suspension within no time when traveling at B roads. If General has started producing soft and low noise tyres then kudos to them, but the reputation is still not good of these tyres. Market is still selecting the Chinese tyres bcz of being softer than the general tyres. If these two issues are solved then it's a great news but again the market will decide after getting the real life results and not by the dealer or the company.

Inflation is so high in Pakistan That people prefer used tyre rather to purchase a brand new tyre Secondly if you buy bridgestone and somehow damage the tyre you will not get the replacement of a single tyre The retailer r the shopkeeper will say we cannot give a single tyre buy 4 tyres or two ? Than what will the solution for this matter ? @@ARDYNAMICSTYRES my issue with this video was that the expert was saying the customer and the market doesn't know if the GTR is soft or not. He's very very wrong in that. The market does know that the tyre is not soft at all and loud as hell. Don't know about the new tyres with new design and tread but older ones have pretty harsh ride with poor braking. I'm in favor of the local brand and would love it to prosper. Anyways next time I will try GTR myself and will absolutely share the results here on this channel. I would love gtr to exceed my expectations. I currently am using Chinese tyre after using two sets of advan db. Chinese tyre is very soft but losing the braking performance very very fast.

Yeh linglong Kay Saath logon kaa experience bohot achaa hay. General tyres unfortunately tough conditions meh 28000km meh bhi farigh hotay dekhain Hain. Unfortunately General tyres are for smooth roads only.

Its just the opposite. General Tyres are meant for Rough and Tough conditions. All other Chinese Tyres are the same. You dont get spare tyre, at later stages General tyres have 3 years warranty

If all the people remove new General tyres from new vehicles and replace them with imported ones there must be a reason. Ask taxi drivers who pay much more for Linglongs and swear they last more. Personally I have never used Chinese tyres. I just buy old kabuli Bridgestones or dunlops because tyres have become too expensive.

Tyres which are removed/ replaced are not due to its performance, its only because of the western interest of the shop keepers. Secondly General Tyres are only supplied to the authorised Dealers and not every Dick and Harry. Though im no more with General Tyres, i have Honda Civic 1.8 and using General Tyres for the last 5 years and completing almost 60,000KM

Disagreed. I've finally changed tires on my 2017 corolla after 80000kms. Never had any issues with the tires. A tad bit of road noise sure but they've survived trips to gilgit, skardu and a lot northern areas plus alot of motorway and inner city driving. Unlike my dB decibels and continentals which both also had to be changed around 65-70k, the generals showed no signs of sidewall cracks or excessive wear. So yeah, they do the job quite well. It's just our mindset running after the more expensive brands. It's becoming more of a trend rather than a safety pov these days to have imported tires on your cars. It's just a shame tbh
