Yeah it presents a big problem but I can see the realism in it. For example the Richmond Depot CSA jackets and coats were made of blue and grey cloth so it makes identification by uniform almost impossible.

4:51 That right there is an issue with "aim at what?". Make sure people know to aim at height of a man at all points of cover and concealment based on possible enemy position or last known position in volley making bullet groupings pass over large area deep into tree line or fields.

This is amazing. A couple questions though. To play do you have to be in a community created group or can you just go in without? And when you die is there a respawn available. There really isn't any just starting out guides for this game showing for people who just bought the game that I've seen so I have to ask. Thanks

Thanks man! You are able to play the game independently, but many people do play with a company. As for respawns, you can respawn as much as you want.

Sold on this, I`m a little bit of a civil war buff and knew about this game for a long time, just didnt know the alpha had gotten this far. A graphics card is first on my agenda, then I`ll make the captains pledge. The dollar was the lowest it`s been in a whole, so I pledged 5 minutes ago.... and can indeed confirm, no delay on instant access after purchase :) Whether or not a scrungy old 460 GTX will handle the game though, is another matter entirely, despite the rest being up to scratch (6700K, 16gb ram and SSD for windows and another SSD for games).

Well, it would run but you would have lower FPS. It is a GPU reliant game since they really focused on the realism aspect of this game. I currently have a GTX 1050 Ti and it runs it very well but once battles get going your FPS with drop with the smoke, bodies etc. Would recommend upgrading but, you will be able to run it!
