The last time GH made a baby die was when Sam lost her baby girl with Sonny! The only difference here is that Sasha got to see and touch her baby. Sam was unconscious and her baby was stillborn. Jason was the only one that got to hold and kiss her. I personally think that that’s the memory Sonny should have shared with her since he personally knows how it felt to lose a baby who suffered the same fate…

Part of the problem is that if they had him live is that they might have to get creative and write a storyline where Sasha and Brando raise a child who is disabled. This writing staff probably isn’t capable of it,so they take the easy way out and kill Liam

They didn't write a significant story around Donna's Spina Bifida either, they just gave her a mild form of it and now she is walking and perfectly healthy instead of needing multiple surgeries and being unable to walk without braces or in a wheelchair.

Sofia has always been a great actress and I’m glad people are seeing this now. I am loving Sonny these days, I love the way that he is so gentle and vulnerable now. Now I know his fans will say he always had a soft side, and that is true, but he is much more open with it now than he used to be. That is the difference to me. He always try to keep of a “face” before. I wasn’t fond of Maurice acting choices back then.

Can people please give Nina some credit for being there for Sasha and Brando. Sasha came to Port Charles pretending to be Nina long lost daughter when Nina found out she forgave her, where was Sonny and Carly when Sasha Od on drugs Nina were at the hospital day and night and help nursed Sasha back yet some people are asking the question why Nina is at the hospital, I think she love Sasha as a daughter.

Sonny and Carly are in this storyline because they are Brando’s family. As for other stories, I can think of a few that they aren’t in like Finn/Liz getting together, Leo’s autism storyline, Alexis getting out of prison and finding herself, Sam/Dante getting together and they really weren’t in the Drew getting rescued storyline that much or Ava/Spencer feud. It just seems like they are because the two huge storylines do.
