Not only is it funny & clearly a silly concept, but some people might unironically learn something about the borders of the unofficial claims you'd be changing. Both comical and educational!

Giving Singapore Malaysian Borneo makes NO sense, Singapore has nothing to do with Borneo and its history. I would give 3 ideas which are a lot better than that. (1) Give it to neighbouring Indonesia (2) give it independence and unite with Indonesian Borneo and Brunei (3) Give it to Brunei. This is probably the best out of the 3 as Brunei actually controlled most of Borneo historically up to European colonialism. Keeping it as part of Malaysia is also possible but I get you want to change things up so that probably wouldn’t be viable.

In ancient Persian, the word Tajik meant a person who was not a Turk or an Arab, which is related to the people living in northern Iranshahr or the Tajiks we now see in Tajikistan. Apart from that, a country like Iran is a multi-national country, and if you do a little research, you will see that the old borders of this country still show themselves in some places.. For example, we can point to the ancient ritual of Nowruz, which is celebrated in an ancient way from Baghdad to western China. This shows that from an anthropological perspective, a country like Iran should not only not be divided,Rather, it should be a factor of consensus among related tribes. All of this is if we avoid the religious part and don't open up the discussion of Zoroastrianism and Shia Islam.
@craigk.gowens753415 сағат бұрын
One change you should have made to your central Asian Turkic state is to partition the Gorno-Badakhshan region of Tajikistan from this greater Turkic state. Even today within Tajikistan, the Gorno-Badakhshan region is culturally and religiously different with the Pamiri population largely being Ismaili Shi'ite religiously and speaking Eastern Iranian languages as opposed to the Western Iranian language of Tajik spoken through most of the rest of the country. It could be called Pamiristan after the dominant Pamiri ethnic group that largely defines the region. This country could also take in the Badakhshan province of Afghanistan as well was the Wakhan corridor, the 1893 manufactured buffer zone between then Imperial Russia and the British Raj of India, delineating their spheres of influence. This also provides an opportunity to birth a new constitutional monarchy with the Pamiristan being able to have the Ismaili Imam HRH the Aga Khan as their ceremonial Head of State.

i have multiple serious flaws with this: - Despite the mess the borders would be, tajikistan should remain independent - There is no point in uniting Cyprus - There is room for border change between southeast Asia and China. As crazy as it sounds, one of the closest people to chineese are Bhutanese, Tibetans and Burmese. Furthermore, there is Tai people in southern China. - Instead of dividing the Nusantaran region by islands, i would rather competly unite them into a confederation, or divide them by languages and ethnicities, and very small groups are either merged with similar neighbours. - UNITING PUNJAB IS A BAD IDEA ☠️☠️🔥🔥⚠️⚠️ - Why no asyrian state??? - Why no Cham state??? - I would make Uyghuristan and Mongolia smaller, to prevent them from becoming majority Chinese. Also, with Uyghuristan being so close to Central asia, i dont see any point in keeping them separated. - The idea of uniting Jordan with Sunni iraq sounds rather poor. i would unite the levant arabs for one side, and divide iraq between a sunni and a shia nation separately. This shia nation could annex the arabs in Iran. There is a few more flaws, but i agree with most things.

South Asian here: 1. I see Afghanistan joining Pakistan in some way or the other in the upcoming years. Afghanistan has crucial trade routes passing through Pakistan. It doesn't seem likely that Pakistan's provinces would seceede, but even if they do you have included a part of Gilgit Baltistan here which is unlikely to join Punjab (it might as well be independent) 2. I have noticed you made Punjab a different country. Considering the premise of this country is the Punjabi language, your proposed nation would be something like the Bosniaks face in Bosnia and Herzegovina. (50% non-Punjabi, 50% Punjabi) Considering that Seraikis, Haryanvis and Pahadis would be separate people within this nation. 3. I have notice J & K is a separate country, but it seems unlikely that it would be a single unified country. It could potentially split into 2-4 countries because the political divide within the regions of the proposed country is as large as the Pacific Ocean.. It's a nightmare keeping the 3 regions of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh together for any government. 4. A proposed Bengal state wouldn't contain North-East India, However the anti-Bangladeshi sentiment (sometimes anti-Bengali sentiment) in the 6 out of the 7 sisters of NE India, is precisely due to the fear of illegal immigrants from present-day Bangladesh overwhelming their native population. Such a country seems unlikely. In any case, if India does retain North-East, independence of the Chicken's neck is unlikely. Making nations out of India's Northeast, is one entire separate video, it is impossible to do so, because of the various competing ethnic groups. 5. Tibet is way too small, here. Xinjiang/Uyghuristan way too large (should include only Turpan Basin). Given inner Mongolia's demography independence seems impossible. Taiwanese independence would die the moment China democratizes, so I don't think it's likely but one is free to speculate.

Russia never threatened China with war. USSR liberated Manchuria and unit 731 was full of USSR captives as well. Try and spill your bs somewhere else
@Alexhuang1413 сағат бұрын
@lorenzooliver1888 Yes, during the Romanov dynasty, Russia did threaten China with war, particularly in the 19th and early 20th centuries, as part of its imperial expansionist policies. Several incidents illustrate this: 1. Opium War and Treaty of Aigun (1858): Though not directly threatening China with war over the Opium Wars (which were primarily between China and Britain), Russia took advantage of China's weakened position after the Second Opium War. In 1858, Russia forced China to sign the Treaty of Aigun, which ceded large areas of land in the Amur River region to Russia. The treaty was effectively imposed on China after military pressure, marking a significant territorial loss for China. 2. Expansion into Manchuria and the Treaty of Tientsin (1859): Following the Treaty of Aigun, Russia continued to expand into northern Manchuria, further pressuring China into signing the Treaty of Tientsin in 1859. This treaty allowed Russia to secure more territory, with a clear threat of military action if China resisted. 3. Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905): While this conflict was primarily between Russia and Japan, it had significant implications for China. Russia sought to expand its influence in Manchuria and Korea, regions that were of strategic interest to China as well. Though China was not directly involved in the war, Russia’s military buildup in the region, particularly around Port Arthur and other parts of Manchuria, created tensions. The war further illustrated Russia’s willingness to use military force to assert control over Chinese territories, though it ultimately lost to Japan. Throughout the Romanov era, Russia often used military threats or outright military action to expand its territory at China’s expense, particularly in areas like Siberia, Manchuria, and the Far East. These actions were part of Russia’s broader imperial ambitions in Asia.

Punjub was divided on the basis of Religion.so it would notbe a good idea to merge them, I guess. Same goes with both the Bengals ( West Bengal & Bangladesh)

Brunei used to own the Borneo part of Malaysia and were tricked out of Sarawak and Sabah by the British. At independence the Sultan didn't want to have responsibility for them. Also, 2 former Malay sultanates are part of Thailand and should be returned. And the Shan state in Burma would like independence please.
