I’ve been thinking of putting together a grassy terrain/sunny day team around rillaboom. Why does 50% Zygarde synergize with Rillaboom?

Ground type moves such as Earthquake and Bulldoze are weakened by 50% when grassy terrain is active. So Zygarde’s thousand arrows makes it a good ground Pokémon to pair for the team. People will often draft a Nido with grassy terrain for the same reason. Also sub glare or sub coil Zygarde loves the health it gets back from the terrain!

@@GeneralTarheel Thanks for the reply! Obviously the Draft Meta and Doubles Meta are probably different altogether but I was looking into something like starting with a Rillaboom with Grassy Surge and Torkoal with Drought and switch Torkoal into a Solar Power Heliolisk who knows Solar Beam or a Chlorophyll Leafeon with Solar Blade. But to be honest I watch a video like what you did here and I think I need to study competitive pokemon a whole lot more.

Pp stall is alright. When it hits just flat out stall it you may as well just theory craft it out rather than wasting 1/2 hour switching
