I have Elementor Pro and signed up for the low tariff to give it a whirl. I choose some basic elements and it couldn't even handle that. Commercial sites were useless. Plus the containers generated were way too many. Happy?

Sadly this does not work like this video portrays. I don't get why even bother launching it when it is so bad. Only logic is thinking about new signups and not bothered in the community.

The entire user flow for a new installation of Elementor is actually really bad. You can't even get to site settings to establish things like primary colours or logos etc without going to a page and using the edit bar. It's just had so many bits added on over time that it's all a bit of a mess. I mean the list of options in the templates tab don't make sense. They are all more or less the same things. Needs a major overhaul. But please leave the AI out of it until you have built something useful. I should do a video of how poor the AI layout were I just tried from a URL. I mean WTF is the point.

Fascinating. There are a variety of ways to structure container layouts. I wonder if is or will be possible to guide the philosophy of the container construction?

@@danielabelensoibelman6803 By "philosophy", I mean there are different approaches to construction. For example, one developer might prefer to set a width on widgets such as three 33% wide images instead of creating 3 child containers which are 33% wide and place images inside. Depending on a developer's goals such as a lighter DOM or more visually aligned design, the preferred construction philosophy could be different. So it would be nice to tell the AI: "please construct something similar to this external site layout, but use as few containers as possible".

Did you remove the "structure" option? I have pro but only get the option to add single column containers!

@SylviaGonzalez if you click the + (plus) icon in the Editor canvas, you should get the container structure options. If you add a container from the widget panel, you will not see the structure options. If you're still not seeing the structure options, please contact support from your account.
