If you are like most people, the answer is a flat-out “NO,” - BUT 50% of CEOs want you back in the office. Elon Musk said you must work 40 hours in if office if you wish to continue working for Tesla. You might rethink working virtually if you consider career advancement and want a promotion. Your career path is a function of proximity. They call it proximity bias. Proximity bias is the idea that employees with close physical proximity to their team and company leaders will be perceived as better workers and move up more quickly. Onsite employees have more opportunities to learn from seeing leaders interact and solve problems, access better perks, and more time with executives. What do you think about returning to the office?
