Generative AI holds immense potential across diverse domains, reshaping how we approach creativity, problem-solving, and automation. Yet, as these opportunities emerge, the legal landscape is grappling with complex issues, from intellectual property to legal implications.
On November 30th, 2023, at 3:30 pm was the latest installment of the Innovation Partnerships Software Thought Leaderships Series. We delved into critical IP & legal considerations for university innovators, and the latest patent & copyright trends. We also spotlighted two GAI-based technologies developed at UM & their journeys towards commercialization & broader impact.
Our speakers are Perry Samson and Elliot Soloway, both professors in the College of Engineering, Brian Doughty from the UM Office of the General Counsel, and Randy Rueth from Marshall, Gerstein & Bourn LLP.
