Sir seal oil DP 84 kpa hi kyo set kiya jata h isse cum ya jayda bhi to set Kar sakte h??

Seal Oil DP set point is provided in this manner so seal oil pressure some what more than H2 pressure, but major difference not allowed otherwise seal oil will mix with H2. Therefore substantial difference 84 Kpa is suggested by OEM in chineese unit.

Ring relief is the spring loaded ring of periphery of generator end which keep sealing between rotating and stationary part of generator Seal oil also provide cooling for this ring.

As H2 side seal oil comes into the contact of H2 so it is necessary to remove H2 from seal oil.

@@kpatelbla Sir,I didn't get this point. Sir,I am asking in that question that without any "intermediate tank" if we use just vacuum tank only along with seal oil tank what will vary? and sir, according to your plant that seal oil tank was placed at what meters? Hope you reply sir

@@motive0507 intermediate tank is required to separate hydrogen from sea oil. H2 side seal oil drain may have some traces of H2 which will be collected in the upper half of the intermediate tank and travels back to generator. The remaining seal oil will be then transferred to vacuum tank.

Practically there are two AC motor driven pump and one DC driven pump, if other two pumps are not available and running seal oil pump tripped then immediately start H2 puge out with CO2 till CO2 purity in H2 above 98%.
