I tried the same general conditions to the Retekess V115 - the K605 works much better on shortwave. But, in this one case it only works if you have a long wire to induce a signal. There may be other configurations of wire antennas that might work as well.

If you close to FM tower you will hear FM bleed though

Yes! I don’t expect a lot from this radio - but for its size and cost it’s not too bad.

Wee 📻 worked gorgeus for me👌it receives all its bands with very good reception quality 🔊🎶 is reliable up to 2 watts. His Mp3 card ready in addition operating digital led clock built in transistor program for memory stations. Kdka 605 is not waterproof ⚠️so watch out avoid being flooded 🌊 or getting wet💧if that happens you will lose it🪦.
