When you are given something for free... Do you appreciate it? Would you love and care for it? Or would you cast it aside and trade it off? Esau had received an awesome gift which was a birthright! He had a privilege to receive blessings , gifts and favors from God. However...he trade it all away for some stew and bread. Just like Esau...many christians today sadly... de-value the free gift of God which is Salvation. They show NO appreciation to God nor what He has done on the cross. Look at Adam and Eve , they traded away Paradise all for the sake of wanting to eat a forbidden fruit. Here's a challenge for yourself... Ask yourself this... "Do I really appreciate what God has done and given to me , which is eternal life with Him forever?"
