Santi plays extremely well. Very good spacing, use of grabs, empty hops, all around great play. I feel like his only downfall is on the ledge, where he typically resorts to double laser at ledge or side B on. Overall though he's so fun to watch, good stuff Santi.

Ethren - he reminds me of PP.

Scal McGuire yup, 100%. PP always talks about how under used Falco’s grab is and Santi is definitely proving how good it is here.

couldn't agree more. usage of side b was way too much. It's a good move but he's gotta diversify. everything else was pretty amazing.

But Armada was so good at getting the up and behind DI on his upthrow and Santi literally just gets 2% and stage positioning. Armada was fine with getting grabbed.

always knew he was a hidden boss, but didnt know he'd be this competitive against armada would like to see the return of a semi consistent grand finals falco

^that HAS to be what he was thinking, his look was that of a parent who hears their child did something both hilarious and disappointing

Since 2015, I always thought Santiago could easily be a top 20 player if he practiced or dedicated more time to Melee. He doesn't even wave land (as cleanly) or shorten. Both which could easily be fixed if he practiced more, yet he is still able to take sets off top players. His decision making and use of empty grab mix up this set was incredible. Too bad he has a shitty opinion of players who actually grind out the game and flaunts that he never practices the game outside of tournaments and friendlies.

Looking back at this today it's aged a bit but his neutral game decisions are still so nasty

@Madbutcher3057 жыл бұрын
not really old school. santi has been consistently active, albeit somewhat isolated, since 2013 and attends locals in San Diego pretty frequently. has winning records over lucky and westballz for 2017 iirc

Old School Yoshi player formerly known as Lil Fumi(a name taken as an homage to the Japanese Yoshi Legend Fumi, who is also revered by aMSa) who has now switched mains to Falco/Sheik. Extremely good player. He went from Yoshi-->Fox-->Sheik/Falco
