Coilovers is one of those things that I just dont think buying cheap is smart, but the disassembly of the strut tower was helpful and it was quite amazing to see what cheap coilovers will do in time. Great stuff sir. A great video lesson of "you get what you pay for". Glad those didnt snap on you while you were driving or something. I would heartbroken to see something bad happen to you or your car, looking forward to more content

Keep it up, I like what your doing! Its hard to find good videos showing all the options we have with the bk2. It's not the most popular car, but isn't that what we like about it. I'm 23 and balling on a budget. so when it comes to mods, it's nice to see where to save a few buck and where to save time by buying quality products. To be honest I almost bought those coil overs just to try because they were so cheap but thank you for being the geniepig. We have the same car but mine is silver and chrome everything lol please keep making more and I hope your channel grows!

I'm a firm believer in not cheaping out on anything engine, suspension or electrical related on vehicles lol. Love the video and channel

I’ve had the rev9 power hyper street II coil overs on my genesis coupe for 4 months and they are legit I got them off eBay for around $500 and have had zero issues they even have camber plate adjustment. That’s crazy how those buckled like that glad your not hurt or the car.

expired kermit I have had zero issues with mine after farther research they are the same as the God speed Mono SS which are around 700 for a set so a really good value. I believe no leaks still ride well.

Wow man!!! Glad it didn't cause further damage to the car, and glad you're okay!! That would piss me off. Good thing they gave you a full refund!! I want to get some coilovers, but I plan on going expensive with it. I saw a nice set for like $1200, and they set them to different specs upon order (everyday driver, street, sport, etc.) Too bad they didn't work out for you!!

Very good lesson to be taught. If somethings price is too good to be true, then it should be a huge red flag. I'm never one that looks out for the most expensive version of every product I get, more often than not you can find budget oriented parts that work just as well. Hell I actually prefer my general gmax rs tires over my old pilot supersports, and the generals were 300 dollars cheaper. But there is usually a bell curve with price and quality. If you see something like 80 percent cheaper than its competition, there's usually a reason for it. Just stay away. I usually like to look for a nice middle ground price zone for parts, no need to go full titanium exhaust, the isr works just fine. The only thing I'm really tempted to pay top dollar for is the irp shifter assembly, man that thing looks sexy and sounds WAY better than a short shifter kit.

Compared to the lowering springs, did you notice an improvement on the ride quality..? I have lowering springs on mine but the too much bouncing bothers me! So if the ride quality Es better I’ll go with coil overs!

How’d you make your interior carbon fiber. Is it a wrap or custom panels?

For anyone wondering..... I had MaxPeedingRods on my 07 eclipse. Had to replace them in less than a year with Godspeed Coilovers. The fronts were so blown that they were leaking oil, rears were so seized I couldn’t even adjust the heights even with PB Blaster. My advice: STAY AWAY.

Should never cheap out on coils. A good entry level coil over for these cars are megan racing EZ11 street coils $799. Or the ISR Performance Pro Series Coilovers for Hyundai Genesis Coupe $859. On genracer.com i have the isr ones on my 2013

First, I'm glad you and your car were fine after that. Crazy!! Second, The best budget coilovers are RACELAND coilovers. They are awesome and aren't expensive as bc, megan, ksport or any other budget friendly coilovers.
