That’s what I love about it. You don’t see them much, but anyone I personally know that has them, love it and have even traded in Lexus, BMW, and Mercedes for it! I love how classy it looks! It does stand out!

@@maganblair2005oh in Asia and especially korea you can see them a lot. I’m seeing them in the US as well. In Europe they are still new, but slowly entering the market

@claylexander6171 I currently own a 2022 GLS 400D, and have owned E55 AMG, S350d, S500. My best friend owns a 2022 GLS 600 Maybach. What I can tell you from my ownership experience is that Mercedes Benz is no longer what it used to be once upon a time! The reliability issues are way too frequent and the service centers techs don't know what to do any more. My friend's Maybach for example had to be booked in to check and repair 12 times in just 18 months! A lemon! MB was once a symbol of solidity and reliability, no more, gone these days of glory! Of course in overall the G90 is not in the same league, yet. But please test drive the 2025 G90 or other Genesis cars, you'll be surprised to notice how much the gap has narrowed down in recent years.

I BELIEVE THAT THE VAST MAJORITY OF G90 OWNERS, OUR CAR, ARE SENIORS. ONE OF THE MAJOR THINGS ABOUT THE G90 IS THE CLOSING AND OPENING DOORS. IT’S HARD FOR MOST OF US TO REACH OUT AND CLOSE THE DOOR; BROKEN SPRAINED WRISTS, SHOULDER DAMAGE, AND MORE. GREAT FEATURE. I HAVE A G80 HTAC (ALL WHEEL DRIVE, GREAT) THE MIDDLE MODEL, BUT YOU CAINT TELL. I’M A ‘GRILLE MAN’ THE GRILL DEFINES AN AUTOMOBILE. YOU SEE THE GRILL YOU KNOW IT’S A CADILLAC, AN ESCALADE IN PARTICULAR, M=B, BMW. I HAVE A CARE GIVER TO DRIVE ME AROUND BUT CLOSING THE DOOR IS TRULY A PAIN. AND ALL VEHICLES, PERIOD, SHOULD MOUNT THE TRUCK/HATCH CLOSING BUTTON DOWN LOW ENUFF TO REACH IN WHEEL CHAIR. ALL SUVs CROSSOVERS, WHAT EVA, MOUNT LOW. THEN YOUR GRANDS AND YOU CAN EASILY CLOSE REAR ENTRY DEVICE. ALSO A T LEAST OFFER THE MAGNIFICENT V8 AS AN OPTION LIKE ALMOST ALL STILL DO. WE TOOK TRIP, 104 MILES TO DISABLED VETERANS AMERICA HOSPITAL. I LOOKED OVER AN NOTICED THAT WE WERE GOING 95 MPH. I SAID, REALLY NICE AND SMOOTH ISN’T IT. ‘YES IT IS VERY QUIET AND SMOOTH’. YES, BUT THAT IS THE REASON YOU HAVEN’T NOTICED YOUR SPEED, IT’S 95 MPH. SHE FREAKED OUT. I RECLINED AND WENT TO SLEEP. GREAT UNBELIEVABLE LUXURY CARS. I DROVE CADILLACS MOST OF LIFE, M-B, BMWs ALSO. Very well crafted vehicle , with super high quality… issue is, it is in the same price tag range as the German luxury cars. And Genesis has not yet gotten to the same Asian luxury status as Lexus. I believe majority of its buyers are Koreans themselves , and some buyers who are simply the more practical types, going for value for money.

It probably offer better and more standard features/warranty (for the same price) than its german and japanese counterparts. That’s how Hyundai/Genenis has positioned their products for years now.

@@specialmag7 The issue is, for many people in this price range who realize the price difference with a comparable BMW and Mercedes or Audi, is like only $10K, they probably rather foot the extra bucks to get the luxury iconic monika on their vehicle, rather than the fairly "unknown" winged badge of the Genesis. Koreans however, the more patriotic ones, will love to buy the genesis, as it is their country's flagship high end vehicle.

@@anthonyboey3210I think genesis is going for more mature, tactile loving users, at the same time they are giving features closer to the Maybach than the lwb s-class (like automatic doors, full lie down seats). What they now need is people who are willing to give their car a chance and if they can deliver on it then they would be a big player in this category. Imo G90 lwb is the best car to be Chauffeured in around 100k.

Beautiful car this and the newer model Kias K4 and K5 also very nice but to me are reminicent of the Olds Toranado from the late 60s which were also a beautiful car and one of my favorites.

I have a 2017 Lincoln Continental Black Label and I sat in this and really wanted to fall in love, but the dimensions are about the same, the power is about the same, the massaging heated and cooled seats are about the same, the panoramic sunroof is not there. I basically felt it was a near similar car 7 years later with no new features to get me excited. I rolled home in the Lincoln and am still driving it. At some point I will find something I like better, but it doesn’t seem possible with Lincoln leaving the car business and I didn’t like the Mercedes when I had it. I loved my 740iL, but it isn’t near as reliable as the trusty Lincoln. I just hate to see all the attention going for SUVs.
