Always great to see more Abacab tour footage, since it is my personal favorite tour. Feels good to see more bits of Me and Sarah Jane, as well as Firth of Fifth. Did an outstanding job with this one.

Awesome! It's was so cool seeing some extra bits of Me and Sarah Jane live. As it was one of the only songs not filmed fully. I really wish there was a full concert filmed in 81-82. I'll take what I can get so thank you! I'm 18 and trying finding as many old Genesis concerts I can find. Just to get a feel of what it was like in the good days. As I only got to see them on their last tour.

The Duke, Abacab and 3SL tours are my absolute favorite era. It’s interesting how few of the songs in this film survived in future tour set lists. Once the Mama tour started it was like they were a completely different band, especially sound-wise. I can’t explain any better except to say 1980-82 was for me was at their soaring peak.

Actually, these clips were filmed by my friend and great Genesis fan the late Maurizio "Ratpie" Carità. We went to Lyon from Rome. He took some beautiful pics available on the net. Kudos to Maurizio. And many thanks to The Genesis museum for this significant improvement of the (possibly) first copy taken from the original.
