Soda Stereo is an Argentine rock band originally formed in Buenos Aires in 1982 by Gustavo Cerati (voice, guitar), Héctor "Zeta" Bosio (bass) and Carlos Alberto Ficicchia "Charly Alberti" (drums). It is considered by the specialized critics as the most important, popular and influential of the bands in Spanish of all time and a legend of Latin music. They were the first Spanish-speaking group to achieve massive success in Latin America and had a very important role in the development and diffusion of Ibero-American rock and rock in Spanish during the 1980s and 1990s. During their careers, they were avant-garde and marked trend in Latin America, in which various genres starred such as fun music from its beginnings, new wave, dark, hard rock, alternative rock and electronic rock from its end.

Song lyrics are a sort of rendition of the Biblical Book of Genesis. It is cover of the first song of early Argentine rock trio Vox Dei's conceptual rock album "The Bible", from 1970.
