@@ushdbrr1293 nah, if you've seen it in person you know it's not. It's got a nice 3D effect that flows with the rest of the design. It's not like every BMW that just slaps giant kidney grills on an otherwise normal BMW design.

@@bradleyscarreviews you are right. Hyundai's and Kia's have been exploding in driveways and they refused to do anything about it for 6 years. Since, Hyundai is Geneis' parent company, I have zero trust in these cars. But you are right, Genesis' haven't been catching fires yet.

Its not just one designer, maybe there is one lead/head designer who steers the design team and approves or disapprove design proposals, but there are generally multiple contributing designers.

That car is sick. Though not sure how I feel about all the grill action up front. Seems like a lot going on. But those wrap around lights are siiiick. I’ve been hoping someone would start this trend of bringing light far into the side. The body lines of this thing is what the modern 8 series SHOULD’VE looked like. As a lifelong BMW owner, if genesis makes this, has a 500+ hp drivetrain and looks the same (within reason of course as it’s a concept) I will 100% buy it. It will be my first new car purchase from an Asian manufacturer ever. We’ll see if it happens. Absolutely stunning vehicle.

Never noticed it until now but there company logo evokes Aston Martin and due to that I started to see the concept car as an homage to the Aston Martin Lagonda. The proportions are quite similar; a long hood and a short rear, just in 21st century curvatures and aesthetic design languages.

The good news is it looks like just a different configuration of their front and rear bumper designs that are on current production cars. They could build this with minor changes I think. Maybe they just need to see how many SUVs they sell this year before they go completely bonkers
