Here Colorado, we went 8 weeks with no moisture, had 2 afternoon showers, then 6 weeks and a skiff of snow. The drought is horrible, but mother nature is in control!!

This is a good series, what would make it a Great series would be if the episodes were more constant.

yes. this is mostly a budget issue...well that...and the fact that we didn't hold back earlier episodes until the show was done. that HAS made it easier for us to get creative and constructive feedback for how to change later episodes though...so...the decision to air the episodes with such a drawn out release schedule has been good and bad i think

yes. it's being cut down to size (it streamed live twice back to back originally) but we're waiting on youtube to finish processing it. episode 5 coming soon....where we check in with Kevin Kalb who was flooded out early.

i thought the levels were pretty reasonable while they were saying things that were actually pertinent...only once did i think Dan's voice got buried when he was putting a box on his flatbed and it wasn't super germane. BUT, you got 4 "thumbs up" already, so maybe not. Fortunately, the subject of episode 5 likes to shout a lot so it'll be easier to understand...but you might have to guess what he said between the "beeps". :-)

Ok guys im trying to grow the tallest sunflowers possible in front of my house in a 4 ft x 25 ft garden. Give me a fertilizer recipe for the job at hand. What should i do? (How much n p k an sulfur, and what ever else) i live in southeast Nebraska and the soil is black. Its on the south side of my house. Should i get them mico nutrients? Im to tight for a soil sample.

most poeple i talk to aren't trying to grow the "tallest". but, make sure you get adequate (soluble) silicon and calcium or they'll "lodge", imo...appropriate levels of boron will help get the other two up there in the plant.

Big Sasquach soil samples are actually very cheap. I've never sent a single sample in but for a complete test with micros and all is usually only like $12-15. There's also a lot of research from the national plant institute on how much of each nutrient different plants require.
