You appear sometimes to be choosing where each gun goes when you fire it. By the book you decide what every gun is shooting at when you activate the unit, before you roll anything. Also GSC tips: 1. Shoot the ridgerunners first for the extra AP! 2. Hide the trucks, let the infantry get killed turn 1 if you have to, or put them in reserves. They have cult ambush! The vehicles don't!

50:30 If unit tau have guided status, tau unit have sust2 for all attacks, if tau unit don't have guided status, this unit have sust1 for all attacks, in 3,4,5 turne, and tau unit only observer, or guided, if you take observer for stealth, this unit have status observer for the end of turne

Last time I played a game of 40k I think that lava was dangerous terrain. So yeah im so far behind haha at least I found a place to game.

@MiniWarGaming you should use epoxy resin to fill in the lava. You would still be able to play lava rules like you do sometimes, but it would make the table play better. What do you think? I bet it would be pretty easy. Just pour it in there and it will self level.

seen a drone didn't get sustained against the aberrant in turn 3.. which it would still get sustained 1, just not benefit from sustained 2 because it not the spotted unit. missed twin linked plasma rifle from broadside. tau battlesuits should always use tank shock to help with combat

Turn 1. Spends 1 cp to protect a umit. Gets one cp. The return to shaodows for 1 cp. Now on 0. Gsc turn 1. Cp goes to 2? Sorey. I'm learning.

neat game! Though, from what i know you can't stack +1s on the to hit roll. So, heavy with spotting shouldn't give a +2 i believe

Guiding changes the BS not a a buff to the to hit.

Those broadsides shooting those crazy feel no pain guys around 1:10 should have gotten sustained 2. Those 3 shots should have turned into 7 shots, not 5. So that would have been the end of that squad instead of 1 dude left on 1 wound.

While I love Tau killing stuff, on principle, I still have to say models should remain on the field until the end of both team's turn 1 to make things more balanced and simulate a more realistic initial clash of armies. So stupid that Capture Enemy Outpost isn't another draw another and reshuffle Turn 1 Secondary. What army can even score that? Man that is just stupid how much better turn 1 and 2 secondary draws the Genestealer got. Also while the Tau rolled somewhat meh on turn 2 to shoot them, those Abominates really question if those are loaded or poorly balanced dice, how many 4+ they got. Feels like you should have tank shocked with the Broadsides instead of saving that CP for a reroll. This is really another example of how meh Kayoun is, since even when it goes well you're on such a back foot it makes things hard to stay in the game. Its lore great, but at odds with how the scoring of the game works.

While I appreciate the batrep, please, for the sake of us all, get a dice tray. The sound of the dice on those hard terrain boards is horrible, not to mention the number of cocked /did not roll dice.
