just became aware of this song in my 50 years. seems i missed some of the early years of genesis, however this song brings up feelings. as the old recordings have quite a bad quality, good covers were to find, but what i've found here is just mindblowing! the softness and vulnerablity in the beginning followed by the strength of the voice is awesome! Thank you for the music! ;)

I find it interesting how the vocalist drags the timing back during the first part of the song. It required the rest of the band to slow down a bit. However, when the song arrives at the "Mild mannered Supermen are held in Kryptonite" section, the lead singer is in total current time signature.
