Bought a Gene Watson album on 8 track in 1977 and have been a fan ever since. I just turned 72. So many of his songs have touched me, almost like he wrote them for me. I think Gene sounds better today than he did all those years ago. Thanks Gene for all the years of great music.

Gene is my favorite with Merle Haggard and have been since I was a baby in 1954. My dad played steel guitar and we had a family band back in 1968.

The one and only Me Gene Watson , my favorite traditioal/ classic true country music singer. Hes #1 in my opinion. Ive been listening to Hene since i was anout 12 and I' m now 65 ... id sure love to see him in person , maybe a concert and maybe a photo . Omg ud be in heaven if that happened...

Another beautiful album release from Gene... If I were to pick a favourite it would have to be... "It Looked Good On Paper" a beautiful but sad and truthful song, beautifully wri­tten... Coming a close second if not a tie for my favourite has to be... "If She Only Knew" again a very sad but true (for some peop­le) storyline.... Nice touch to the en­ding of "They Played It" (every DJs nigh­tmare 🙂) I also love the track featuring Rhonda. "I've Got One Of Th­ose Too" just beauti­ful.. Overall another great release from Gene, but then again his fan's always have faith that anything Gene releases is sure to be "Real Country!!"...❤️

I was 12 when I first heard you sing and you are my very very favorite traditional/classic true country music singer ....you are number #1 in my book ..❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ love every song you sing although I do have a couple if favorites, but anything you sing is awesome.God Bless you and keep you and your family safe always.
