just to confirm if tv 2 is off and nothing is scheduled to record during that time slot can i watch 1 show live and record 4 other shows at the very same time on tv 1 using the Genie? only 2 tv's in the house

I got the Hopper3, whole home DVR from dish. Since 4//16/22 the Hopper3 has 16 tuners; Plus 2TB Of storage.” DIRECTV GENI DVR only got 5 tuners and 1TB OF storage. There’s going to be recording contents with one of the GENI mini clients because it will use the 5th tuner.” DIRECTV stinks like dog crap DIRECTV doesn’t have the remote locator feature, and they don’t have the magnification feature. Also the buttons don’t light up on their remora with DIRECTV that’s a major slap in the face for DIRECTV, dish is the way to go because dish i cheaper than DIRECTV.” I Love the Hopper3!! 🫶🏻🤗

They are trying to get me to switch to these... But these seem to be for 1 person... I have several people in my house that like to watch and record different shows so not sure how this will work. does everyone have to watch the same show?
