Something interesting: Many of the sections shifu plays in this piece is extremely similar to Tai Lung's leitmotif "BA DA DAAA" Only here, it's played much softer and slower, because even 20 years later he is still stewing in regret for failing his son.

Well I see now that the only difference I've found in the compositions is a shorter piano introduction. Unless you meant the differences in the instrument? The original music used a Chinese Xiao flute, and this one here uses a Japanese Shakuhachi.

I'm assuming the shakuhachi part of the title refers to the instrument being played over the screen cap and not, Shifu's flute itself. Shakuhachi is an end blown flute, as well as distinctly japanese, where Shifu is playing a transverse (side blown) flute, most likely a Dizi as it looks like it's made from bamboo.

Beautifully played. Did you improvise the last part? I played and uploaded the first half after watching yours. I'll try to figure out the last part. It shouldn't take longer than figuring out Haru No Umi, which took me a day. I prefer the sound of the Shakuhachi to that of the Xiao for this particular sound.
