*I was looking for a way to melt the remaining wax out of all these tall candle jars. Don't know why I didn't think to use the oven. I did and was able to make a big candle out of them. Thank you so much!*

That's awesome! Stuffs expensive haha, if it saves money then I'm in!

I run a small candle company. You need to add the wax melts at a lower temperature. Fragrance normally Burns off around 175°. If you would like them to have a better scent when you burn them, add them to your wax at a lower temperature. They will still melt, but it will take a little longer and some more stirring. Best of luck to you!❤

And also the right wick needs to be used based off wax & diameter of your vessel to give off a good scent throw.

When I made mine the center where the wick was caved in. How can I fix this?
@JennyGeska Жыл бұрын
That's happened to me a few times. I just burn it and it levels itself out 🫠

You can also let it cool a bit and then pour and heat the jars before pouring the wax into it. Hope that helps.

How long do you put it in the oven at 275?
@JennyGeska Жыл бұрын
I kind of just keep an eye until it's all melted. 30-60 mins I'd say

This truly burns me up! Folks like you follow any old hack. As a candle maker this entire video was WRONG! WAX melts are not designed to burn with a wick. You cannot remelt any old wax with any old wick. That wick was made for that skinny jar. Learn how to make candles properly lady🙄

No need to be so nasty with your comment. There are better ways to communicate and offer advice as opposed to being a negative Debbie downer. And if you paid any attention to the video, she actually changed the wicks, she didn't use the same wicks that she melted from the tall jars... Each one, reach one, TEACH ONE...
