Solar roads is a great idea that wouldn't work wherever there's a fair amount of traffic. The infrastructure already has to deal with potholes and resurfacing, and I can't see how that would co-exist with expensive fragile panels. All sorts of muck would get in the way.

I mean the solar roads can be equipped on new roads. The problem is that we havent actually used this tech on a massive scale yet so we dont know the risk we are taking by spending more money on our new roads. And the traffic problem isnt actually a problem. I mean even the most popular solar raod in the world will be able to work. There is an other problem thougth that can be easily fixed. All that traffic will produce dirt on the roads so we can equip devices that will pour water on the road every 3-4 hours so the roads remaine clean.

I'm not a visual artist, but wouldn't a better idea be to scan a color you want to use, and be able to match it to your medium of choice as precisely as possible? Ex.; scan the color of a tshirt, and save it. In your studio, scan the color paints close to the tshirt color, and it tells you which one matches. Or scan them all into a library and it tells you which colors you have that should be combined to match the tshirt color. Restricting an artist (because non-artists do not "need" exact colors to draw) to only an ink pen with what looks like a 'fine' point kind of negates anything positive about being able to scan and match colors.
@liquidacid1983
@liquidacid1983 2 жыл бұрын
To bad it's a scam. They repeatedly got caught making fake videos claiming to show off the pen which doesn't actually exist and which they don't have the tech to actually make. Then after their kickstarter was fully funded 3 times over and they were unable to deliver anything they literally just shut down the kickstarter and opened another new campaign on a different crowdfunding platforms to try and milk customers all over again.

I just want to know how strong those road solarpanels are, I mean sure, they could handle a tractor, but can they handle a fully loaded truck? And what about brunt or piercing damage? Could they handle bullets or a sledgehammer and so forth? That said, don't get me wrong, I really do hope they can, as it'll make the decision to use them allot easier for countries.

I think a really cool concept would be to create a pair of gloves that could help beginner artists learn to draw, the idea would work like the scribble pen, it would scan the picture they want to draw and the gloves would help them draw it, using them to draw the same picture continuously will help build muscle memory eventually getting them to the point where they can do it on their own, it could also be used in tandem with the scribble pen.

20. A slide seems to be fun, but imagine the burn on your rear end at the end of the trip. For that matter the rain water and likely asshole that will block it one way or another causing injury or worse towards others. Another option would be a simple elevator, with the many years of improvements this is a much saver and better solution. 18. Solar roadways are proven to be a huge failure, even by using common sense you will know this isn't going to work out as you thought it would. Aside from that it's a bottomless pit that will eat money faster then a fleet of commercial airliners. Glass tiles for roads is asking for accidents and deaths to occur on daily basis as it's too slipperly regardless of how many bumps and ridgesyou want to add to it. Which on turn will disappear within months if not days depending on the traffic passing trough. Maintenance will be hell as it will need 24/7 maintenance as heavy traffic (and yes I do mean those big trucks) will crush it easily causing all kinds of trouble. The truck isn't just getting stuck easily, but also will rip it's tires thanks to the glass tiles. Ever noticed that solar panels are always angled? Guess what, that's for the simple reason this is the best and most effective way of generating electricity. Something these solar roadways wil NOT provide making them more of a hassle then a gain. Really, the idiots behind that should be locked up in a insane asylum, not be rewarded for their stupidity. 12. While the idea in general is okay, you still will need to learn the arm movements as the gloves are only working on your hands 11. Being in a chair all day isn't good, you need to get out to give your body the movement it needs to keep functioning properly. While that chair could be interesting in some forms, in most cases it will cause more harm then do good. 8. Already being used for years in various ways, either to alert you that your order is ready to more advanced versions that have too many buttons and options. 7. Anyone that goes out with a heavy backpack like that should know to set the backpack straps up so your hips carry the most weight, not the shoulders. If you bike then adjust the straps so the weight is more to the top. It is already a huge and FREE solution to safe your body from harm. With that said, if this idea indeed works as advertised and it can be added to any (new) backpack then it may help out mostly the dummies who didn't try to learn how to actually wear a backpack properly. But could also help out anyone else. (I just worry about that system rusting and there for causing trouble long term) 6. Pointless joke item 4. And now we wait for some idiot to hurt someone with those nasty propellers.... 3. Joke item from the 80's

I've watched squirrels run across that bridge all the time. But now i know who and when it was built. Shocking to see something from your own home town on u tube. Awsome! We care greatly about our squirrel population.

Nash Byrd I hate to burst your bubble, but there’s no way solar road will work. You’d doo better to make roads out of little sacks of air and springs. Then hook the whole thing to a wind turbine. Or, we could go to the cleanest forms of electrical energy in the form on nuclear power.

yeah, i told linus on his channel that he should try turning his walls into wireless charging so he would not have to worry about a lack of outlets. One day, unsightly cords will just vanish. The only question, will it be healthy. Oh, and the other is how to make his standard plugin devices conform to wireless . . whether through some magnetic mount plug or such.

In my town our hospital, (yes only one) uses these coasters. They are used to alert a patient when they are next to have their test done, like a blood draw, X-Ray, MRI done in the hospital as an out-patient. LED lights flash on the coasters and a slight buzzing sound emits form the coaster.
