Just before the start of the first gulf war, two US operatives penetrated a secure warehouse in France and replaced a couple of computer chips in the Iraqi air defense command and control system that was being shipped to Baghdad. It was to be the final piece in Saddam's fully-modernized air defense system. When the war started their system crashed repeatedly, and that's why their air defense response was so scattered and uncoordinated. US losses were minimal as a result. This sort of high-tech espionage has been going on for quite awhile now. This is just another example. Got to give props to the Israelis on this one!
