Go on ebay , pwk are now making carbs with this adjustable power jet .

@@TheSteelweasel yeah I ended up buying one with a power jet , just haven’t make it adjustable yet. The problem I’ve found is that I can’t get a small enough jet to lean out the idle to mid-range. So I’m stuck at like 10:1 AFR which is FAT asf lol

Might need a locknut on the adjuster. When open without it may rattle out 😄👍

I'm hoping the spring stops it moving but I'm probably gonna put a rubber o ring to seal the air or I might not get vacume ? Thanks for comment mate .

I'll find out if it needs lock nut good idea cos that guarantees no movement or air leak just not so user friendly 😁

Most scooterists are already overtaxed with the normal carburettor setting and in my opinion a powerjet is also unnecessary in everyday use.

Nobody forces you/them to ride a two stroke with a resonated pipe. If there is resonatet pipe, a normal carb will either be to rich at lower rpm or to lean at high rpm. No other way of getting around it sadly. Engines are simple untill ones starts to adjust them to run optimally.

Good work,i could have done with this modification when i visited a mate who lives in France by the pyrenees. We'd ride up the mountains into Spain and my Lammy struggled with the altitude !

Hi Steve, if you have a power jet on a PWK 30 do you scale back on your main jet?

Power jet only comes in on the last 10% of carburation if you have changed to power jet of 30 only drop main by 15 then check jetting is correct . If its already got a power jet .... jet as normal

Well one year on and I see the new pwk carbs come with adjustable power jet ....... and you can buy it on ebay as a kit ..... about £3.50 more of my stuff copied it beggars belief.
