I’ve only planted 3 trees in my life but the hack isn’t necessarily right. you’re relying on some quite specific soil, but more importantly, trees need a big hole dug so the soil is looser around it for its roots to spread and the tree to survive

@@shanana6815 I feel for you lot, Shana! Christmas Day in Honolulu is about 26°C, and I can't imagine not having AC in my home to sleep. Are you able to buy an A/C for a single room there? You can buy them here for about $300 and they easily install in your window and the condensation it produces just drips on the outside. I have central air conditioning which cools my entire 4-bedroom/2-bathroom home, but these systems cost in the thousands and aren't practical for small flats. Anyway, I don't know about you lot, but in Hawaiʻi, the temperatures have risen a lot since the 1980s...back then, hitting 32°C was rare, it might happen 1-3 times per year...but in 2018, it hit 32°C in August alone, 18 times! It hit 32°C over 40 times that year!
