Gorilla moms are very caring. Genki never put down Kintaro for many months, carried him the entire time. Human mothers don't do that. Their babies get put down to sleep at birth. Human moms use swings, carriers, cots, floor play mats, cribs, in which to safely place their babies, all the while Genki carries her baby night and day. Just amazing to me.

If you read her life story you might unserstand why she didn't put him down for so long. When she had Gentaro they took him away from her. After 10 months of hand rearing him they gave him back and shocking to everyone she accepted him back. I guess it's very unusual for a Mom to take back a hand reared baby. Shows you what a truly loving mom she is. Even though he was bottle fed she still cared for him in every way a mom would. They believe this might be the reason why she held Keni and wouldn't put him down till he was I think 7-8 months. Makes sence to me. You should really read her life story. It's heartbreaking yet so amazing.😍

ゲンタロウは8～9ヶ月？人工保育でしたよね？ゲンキにとってはキンタロウが初めての子育てで、少し過保護気味のように見えます。それは良いことだとは思いますが、ゲンタロウにとっては寂しかったのかもしれませんね。

Gentaro always been the baby. Genki didn't get him back until he was 10 and a half months old. And now he's only 7 years old. Still a baby himself. Wants to hold the baby and mama cant let him. Gentaro loves his mama andbaby very much. Don't understand why he cant play with the new baby. 🦍 mama gorilla won't let no male around their babies, because in the wild they will kill them. Not even the daddy. Not till bigger. Her baby was 5 months old before Momo got to touch him.🦍🦍🦍🦍

@@debbiedavis8481 in the wild the silverback usually is around the baby, also the siblings. Only a silverback taking over the group would kill the babies. Nobody within the group will hurt the babies. Most mothers don't play keep away like genki did. Only for the first month or so, not the first year .
