First major design flaw. So going downhill in a powerchair you need to lean and tilt backwards. My chair is tilt in space so I recline it in order to sit comfortably on a steep decline. With the Genny you need to lean forwards making going down steep hills downright dangerous.

Do it all the time in my Segway wheelchair and not very dangerous at all, going up hill can run the foot rest into the ground because of self leveling, but I thought this unit did better with that. I put the 6 in tires on mine by removing the fenders, I don’t see that capability on this unit.

I am going to disagree, with increase mobility and speed you give up a lot of safety which doesn’t bother younger people with a disability but a senior flipping this over would get hurt. And that will happen, the biggest problem is you need a perfectly level place to stop and it’s not all that easy to know what is. Putting jacks down on a unlevel area will make chair charge forward or back. What it needs for seniors are jacks that power down and sense the ground contact so stopping anywhere works.

I do not recommand on NineBot Elite based wheelchairs, beause they are very dangerous and unsafe (no redundancy!). If just one part fails, you will fall! Segway PTs are fullredundant, that means all parts are twice in board, in case of fault the 2nd system will takeover...

You have to lean too far back to stop that Genny.

I do that on mine and it’s not a problem if you have trunk muscles. If you don’t you need a chair with a power back and forth seat option.

this isn't even expensive. Unfortunately we have no option to choose this awesome model, wich is so much better for all of my joints, inclusive on my shoulders and awesome for bodybalance wich is good for burning calories anyway. I love the activeness this electric one is offering to people like me. For me to expensive and even if this one is the cheapest so far, it will be out of range anyway. Maybe over some 10 years when this vehicles are back at the secondhandmarktet for 1/10th it is optional. However, it is an awesome device for those with severe artroses and artificial joints in all of the body ;)

A great question most that design wheelchairs have no idea on needs. They show only the good of their units and none of the limitations which all chairs have.
