I normally agree with Geno, but when he called the Villanova kid rolling up on Bueckers leg at the end of the injury play "a basketball play" he was mistaken. It was totally unnecessary and uncalled for, even if it was "in the heat of the moment".

people are saying not to leave your star in when you are up 30. that its irresponsible, that they are stat padding to reach CC's stats...........the delusional part of all of IT IS UCONN HAS BEATEN ALL BUT 3 TEAMS BY 22-30 POINTS. ITS NOT THAT PAIGE AND CREW ARE THAT GOOD- EVERYONE ELSE IS THAT BAD. BE HONEST ABOUT IT. AND WHEN UCONN WAS AT THIER BEST BACK IN THE DAY IT WAS WINS BY 30-50.

IMO…Jana’s biggest cons are 1. Holding the ball after a rebound 2. Dribbling the ball under the basket b4 going for a shot…ball is knocked loose almost every time….Shade’s biggest con is not following after her shots…😊coachable problems

Jana's biggest con is missing shots. I think part of that is her height and the tendency for her bank shots to go too high off the backboard.

I think the team is ready to turn this paige. It gives them more time on the floor to work on their individual things. They've played without Paige before, so the pressure to score is familiar.

Really? They played most of her soph year without her and lost 5 games and beat zero ranked teams until the tournament when she came back and led them to the finals. Althe following year she didn’t play at all and they were terrible. She came back last year off injury and led a 6 person team to the FF. They have failed miserably without her

@@cbrend22 They have to stop watching Paige and continue to move. They hurry their shots, bring the ball down, fall away on their shots, bad footwork, other than that they look good. Oh and play Allie Zeibell to keep her shot consistent.

It was a dirty play. In BB, FB, soccer, even baseball, you can feel when somebody under you is in an unnatural position. That's when you can decide to let your weight go with the intent to injure or keep your weight off of them. It was glaringly obvious the kid felt Paige twisted under her and rolled her weight onto her (Paige). I guess Geno's just being diplomatic but really other teams beat the sh!t out of Paige every game. Plus they're trying to actively knock knees with Azzi. Watch the games and see- every screen the kid sticks their knee out at Azzi.

THe NCCA needs to look at that type of play where the defensive player just 'Rolls' over' or undercut a player' at he legs which is very dangerous..If That happen in soccer, that would be a red card for sure..You can't undercut a player..That will ruin the players future for sure..Paige got lucky for sure..Geno isn't going to say anything about it but clearly you can tell he knows it was a dirty play..

You will be OK without Paige. Team is strong. Strong your best player. Paige seems jealous of her. Rare high fives when she scores. Paige sticks to her circle of friends, Fudd and KK. Team did well when Paige was out for the season with ACL injury. I think Paige fears the WNBA. ALL talented players. Didn't need to dive for the ball, game already won by UCONN. she should have been on the bench.

Geno: Caroline lives a couple of miles away from the World Famous SIMCO'S takeout in Mattapan. Treat her two a couple of "footlongs" or a "seafood platter". Don't be cheap.

I hope Paige gets back quickly, but the reality is Paige is not very durable and will struggle to stay healthy in the WNBA. They are gonna hit her....a lot! Geno is still the MAN!
