This is my favorite Uconn team. Not just because expectations were low, but because on any given night, you have no idea who is going to emerge and lead the team to victory. Crystal's performance against Baylor was outstanding. Lou's AAC tournament was the stuff of legend. Napheesa's 39 points vs USF, Gabby's triple-double vs East Carolina, Sanyia's outstanding performance vs Tulsa, shows they can defeat teams with a variety of ways. If they're all in sync, they are unstoppable. Best summed up by Geno: "They are tough individuals and they are only going to get better," Auriemma said. "When I see our young players play, I close my eyes and I like to think, 'Man, this is the worst they are going to be. They are only going to get better. You cross your fingers when you say that." I was lucky enough to be in Gampel for the 100th win (so carolina). Never forget that. Can't wait for next year!
