Loving all the yoimiya appreciation. I was expecting like most stories that the "main" characters would be the only ones to get screentime but genshin impact surprised me in how yoimiya has a long journey and many events around her.

I see the existence of the Fireworks Festival in Inazuma to be ironic, given that the nation's ideal revolves around Eternity which could be attributed to stillness, while fireworks are, well, fleeting. At most, fireworks are the complete opposite of eternity. Let's say skies are the gods-eternally existing-while fireworks are humans with lifespans that are as short as fireworks ignited in the eyes of the gods. Yet Inazuma had an entire festival highlighting fireworks, and maybe the Fireworks Festival was always meant to remind the Inazumans that the Eternity they should hold is not one that pursues complete stillness and rejection of the chance to progress. Instead, the true Eternity of Inazuma had always been the acceptance of change, the ability to adapt to it, and the courage to shine brightly-even if it is just for a moment-all for the eyes of mankind to see that they can light up the skies even at its darkest, a realization of humanity's potential to do things in their own will. That is Makoto's promised Eternity, the Eternity of Inazuma, the Eternity of humanity that Ei has now realized and is willing to give to her people once more. Thank you for making this video. It is truly a wonderful masterpiece ❤

Iirc yoimiya had a voiceline on eternity and how it relates to fireworks. 😅 For me fireworks represents a different form of eternity though. It represents the immortalization of a memory. Which is what happens in her story quest.

I would totally watch a Slice of Life with Yoimiya as the protagonist. After all, Yoimiya is probably the only non Archon character who has this much of content and screentime. Aside from her unluckiness in her banners, she’s a character that shines in everyone’s hearts. ❤️👌
