Nope, he’s just a different species of fox. Tighnari is a fennec fox which is native to the desert however part of Tighnari’s friendship info (if I remember correctly) states that the reason he struggles in deserts and has a darker colour scheme is because his ancestors had migrated and adapted to the cooler forests. Hopefully that clears things up a bit 🙃

Yae Miko must be larger than Tignari Yae Miko is either an ordinary fox or an arctic fox, and Tignari is a fennec fox, the fennec fox is the smallest fox
