To say that Japanese anime voice acting industry is much bigger than other languages' is an understatement. One character could have more JP VAs auditioning for than there are VAs in total in other languages. And to say that "EN and JP voices are equally good" is like saying "NBA is equally as good as the national basketball association of Uganda". You may not agree to that analogy because acting is not a sport there is no scoring boards. All you have is your personal biases often against the languages you are not familiar with. But judging purely by industry size, the gap is literally that big without exaggeration. To add to the point about the size of industry and talent pool. Notice how every single one of them in this video has a different and recognizable voice despite characters are all around the same age? Other languages struggle to offer distinctions in voices among young characters. It's always the same forced high pitch voices every time there is a need for young female voices .

Not only does Japan have more VAs than the rest of the world combined, their standards for voice acting are so high that even on a 1-to-1 basis, a voice actor in Japan is far superior to a voice actor outside Japan. Even an amateur VA by Japan's standards is better than a veteran VA by Western standards. Thus, the only conclusion one can arrive at is: No one outside Japan should even be a voice actor. Ever. The very art of voice acting ought to belong to Japan alone, and anyone outside Japan needs to stay out of it.

Y'know, I always liked to play this little game where I would find compilations of Japanese VA's/Seiyuu's I'd try to imagine my OCs being voiced by the ones I think suit them best. And like recently, I can't help but laugh whenever I remember that time I considered Kenjirou Tsuda a great choice for 2 of my OCs. Oc No. 1 is my German Oc, Dylan Ludenberg and Oc No. 2 was Yuhiko. The reason I always laugh you may ask? Well, it's because I came to the realization that Dylan, Yuhiko and Nanami have a few things in common. 1. Is that all 3 are wearing glasses 2. They're wearing suits 3. There's that one person that they have that tends to act like a fool yet is really powerful ➪Nanami - Gojo ➪ Dylan - His younger brother, Shawn ➪ Yuhiko -His childhood friend, Alvaro *Me, snickers a bit* Me: S-Sorry, I-I just can't h-help it
