The good thing about having an anime version in comparison to the game is that the animation and character designs are not limited. With the game, there’s only so little the people can put into the game due to both storage limits and big amount of time creating new models and animation. With the anime, animators have more freedom with how they can visualize the story.

Let me clear this up for you guys. No, the genshin impact anime is NOT cancelled. Just because it's been 2 years since we saw a teaser of it, does NOT mean it's cancelled. The entire anime is going to based off of travelers journey, hence tons of lore bombs & missiles. Genshin impact is not finished yet. This means we cannot get the anime released whilst genshin impact is still going. Why? This is because the anime will spoil future nations and many other lore that isn't the right time for us to hear it. So until genshin finishes we have a long way to go.

Honkai on the other hand is massive. They could start in Previous Era, make a series about Fu Hua's Taixuan school leading up to the mutiny, Otto's rebellion against Shicksal, The first Eruption, The second Eruption, or the events of the game itself.

Same I recently just heard of it and it looks interesting, plays it's kind of ironic how this is going to a collaboration with an actual Japanese studio rather than domestic animation donghua. Since Genshin itself apparently is of Chinese origin and I know plenty of donghua I watch these days also are apparently inspired by actual Chinese webpage games these days. It's been weeks now since we got the big announcement from Ufotable and Mihoyo. I'm still stunned by this unexpected surprise. I adore Genshin Impact's characters and its story. I knew that it would eventually get an anime cause of how popular it is, but to see that it's actually being animated by my favorite animation studio, Unlimited Budgets Works, was completely mind blowing for me. This surprise has left me both excited and a bit anxious. As anyone who has been a viewer of Ufotable Anime for over the last ten years such as myself, is fully aware of of Ufotable's hit and miss record. The studio has given us amazing animations with great plots such as Demon Slayer, Fate series, and The Garden of Sinners films. But when it comes to adaptations to games like God Eater, Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu, and Tales of Zestiria, I'm afraid 'eye candy' is I can say for those particular titles. It seems that Ufotable has been learning its lesson as the years go by, but still that alone is not enough to ease my concerns. Still though, if Mihoyo has enough trust for Ufotable to faithfully adapt Genshin Impact's story and subplots, then I will enjoy this pleasant treat as well. I honestly would love to see Ufotable use Lumine as the protagonist we follow during the story of the anime, cause Aether's role as the Abyss Prince is much more emotional and tragic compared to the Abyss Princess. Zach Aguilar really went all out as the Abyss Prince as we reunite with hm and Dainslef. The heartbreak and determination his his voice when leaving you for the Abyss Order is much more compelling than Sara Miller Crew's performance as the Abyss Princess. What are your guy's concerns and hopes for the upcoming anime? What do you guys want to see or wish to be improved with this new show?

As much as I'll probably cry for joy just seeing them again, I really want to hear their voices and the cute balloon-rubbing sound they make when they move... and see Arama 😭 Maybe we'll see Rana and Arana adventuring together. Or catch up with Arapacati and her brothers on their culinary journeys. All the empty Aranara homes across Sumeru just look so dreary and sad without them. Hope they'll at least bring them back as dailies (I'm still AR 25 so I dunno if they are already) Anyway this looks amazing and I can't wait to see the monsters and battles. Demon Slayer has some of the most screenshot worthy and beautiful fight scenes ever.

@@ifakeifake7612 I like exploring, collecting and unlocking waypoints to open up the map so I only did character stuff to if I needed it to complete something in the handbook. (Hoyolab says I'm 135 days active) I mean... I put off fighting Dvalin for a month because I like dragons and just didn't want to fight him lol. That was in Aug and I haven't done it since. Yet to start spiral abyss.. I have 8 chars... 1 more shard to thaw out... you get the picture. Anyway I found Sumeru by accident, I went into a tunnel thinking I was heading to the chasm's underground and whoops. Also put off talking to Rana at the start because I just wanted to explore greenery. Did a desert questline (Benben!), went back to Rana a week later and ended up completing that world quest same day. Of course only then I learned how to interact with the world. Somewhere Childe is waiting for me... think? lol.
