I think the main reason would be because you normally hold off on farming for better artifacts at that point (because it is better to farm in AR45) but the enemies are now far stronger than your characters.

although the difficulty of the game was increased linearly, the fact that all your characters are now under-leveled, under-equipped, and generally have little resources makes the game that much harder. It's when you realized you needed the most resources but don't have them.

no worries, I have been doing that. Main problem is that, as a mobile player(not to mention my mediocre device) is the loading time which is really time consuming and is generally an inconvenience to others. And ngl, I'm better off farming weekly/world bosses as I have decent luck getting the artifacts I want

I reached AR40 last week. It got so tricky so I lowered my world level. People were being toxic to me calling me weak but if you need to revert your world level so you don't get clapped then that's fine. Once I feel ready I'll be reverting my world level :) Thank you for all the kind replies and likes!

if you find inazuma difficult at ar40, dont lower your word level until you want more materials from inazuma, just play and farm in liyue and mondstadt, the monsters are weaker than you despite the world level

I felt like the jump to world level 5 (AR 40) was very difficult because the mobs were just so much stronger than my characters. I feel like everything slows down at AR 40 immensely. I don't know why world level 5 is so much harder than the jumps between the other world levels.

I’m siting pretty at AR35 taking my time building characters. Farming ascension items is easier so why not. I’ll be ready to ascend my characters and weapons to again be on par EDIT: I accidentally did the ascension quest. Yes, I’m not that bright. @@MmMm-mr6tf maybe I would but looking at how the Adventure rank rewards are way worse than achievement rewards I don't see the point in wanting to ascend to higher ar lvls. It's only gonna make the game more difficult. Once I feel my characters are strong enough and have enough ascension boss materials and I start getting desperate for better enemy drops then will probably do the ascension quest. Initially at the start of the game ascending and going to higher ar lvls felt thrilling and the rewards satisfied me but now the rewards are so bad it doesn't feel like an achievement to get to a higher ar lvl I'm pretty happy at ar35 since it doesn't limit any in-game content except character ascension lvls. Which I'll probably get in a day once I ascend to higher ar

I reached AR40 and managed to not have that much trouble. I am a ganyu melt main, most issues is that ganyu is maxed and the rest of my characters are quite weak. Ive allways been into farming and not doing missions, farming is much more entertaining to me than eating a whole dialog I dont really care about. On my own experience I would say make a good fitting team, and give your dps the most attention in terms of leveling it up, ALLWAYS farm weekly bosses when possible, either solo or co-op, weekly bosses give super good drops.

Me at AR43 with only 4th ascension characters, 2nd ascension weapons, and most talents at lvl 3 only: 👀 That being said, I haven’t found the WL to be too difficult, so I’m still playing at WL5. I struggled for a while until I figured out that I needed to take off my 3* artifact sets and upgrade some of the 4* and 5* artifacts. Now I’m pretty comfortable trying to grind some mats (waiting until the new banner tomorrow to see if I get any good 4* weapons before I upgrade my current weapons lmao)

It’s minor but the reason the one ruin guard didn’t attack is because the albedo E flower clipped into his foot. It’s happened to me before, much like the clipping issue from last episode I don’t know if it’ll be fixed as all game assets are working as they should

If you’re pre-AR45, don’t bother building artifacts. Focus on leveling talents and ascending the characters. Just use the correct main stats on the 3 or 4 star artifacts if you have them. And if you’re post-AR45, prioritize getting the correct main stats on 5 star artifacts and then go back to farming talents or levels if necessary. Artifact farming is a long process so don’t feel discouraged if your characters look unbuilt for a month or two.

You’re in really early game at the moment so either way you’d be pretty solid, but you can still build a pretty solid team out of the characters you’ve already got. And as for pulling for characters, it depends which characters you want and what kind of team you want to build

I started a new account less than 2 weeks ago (is ar43 rn) which was an old reroll account of 1.0 (ar7) in which I found Itto with the 2400 primogems they gave. I went to Inazuma at ar30 just to upgrade my Itto and it was a little bit of a pain, then before ar40 I managed to get Sakura Tree to lvl 40 and every region's statutes of the seven at lvl 10. Now I don't know what to do if not the quests before I can start farming artifacts at ar45.
