After conflicts in Fontaine and with the Knave, the Traveler is ready to head to their next destination, but something is weighing on their mind, Lyney joins them to the Aqua bus station and tries to get the traveller to talk.

I have this to say: whether the region is saved or not, depends on the local inhabitants. The Traveler can help them, as a neutral mediator and as a brave warrior, even help them connect with the supernatural forces of the region. But he/she is just one hero, where hundreds should fight, and hundreds more must think of a solution. Victory is only possible when there are clearly defined victory conditions and there are people willing to seize them. Traveler alone would not be able to do all that. And they would not be willing to do it either. Because Traveler seems to respond to people's wishes more than anything. And if the Traveler is not good enough, it just means that locals should do more to help the Traveler and by extension themselves.

I want this so much to be in the GAME!! 😭😭❤ It's not so hard to animate, it's not so hard to write those lines.... WHY HoYo just not adds some human emotions to the Traveler?! Anyway, really good job! ❤ Thank you for making this! I really like voice acting too! And that hug in the end melted my heart! 🎉

As someone who gets far too invested and immersed in games sometimes - this hits home in quite a few ways. Gameplay-wise, since Traveler isn't usually very good (unless of course I decide to go gardening). I refuse to take a team without the Traveler in it, and... well... I die a lot and get revived by friends after the fight is over. I find myself increasingly relying on the literal dragon's blue beam of death as my damage just doesn't keep pace, and without either healing or shielding, I eat dirt and then it's back to relying on the more capable characters to finish up. Story-wise, so many of the things that we [Travelers] do are more accurately the results of luck, teamwork, and a decent amount of times, literal divine intervention (though we also intervene on the divine quite frequently). I have not prevented a single Gnosis from being taken, and I have just been informed that they are made from the corpse of my immediate predecessor in descension. We've also been shot with a number of emotional damage bullets from Hoyo. And now I've heard it said aloud, and the part of me still stuck in-character thanks you all, not just for giving voice to my feelings and cheering us up, but for the hug too! Because it bothers me sometimes that Traveler in-game can't give hugs outside of stories (that once we hugged Paimon, and this time with Nilou). Have a virtual hug from this Traveler, and probably from a lot of other Travelers out there too.
