mm... not quite. Depends on the enemy really. Down the road that shield does get smashed pretty quick if you don't stakc a lot of defense and if you don't have the constellation that makes it explode for being destroyed it's not worth letting it get destroyed really.

And relying entirely on damage from just ult kind of puts her in the position of an "ult only" character. She can work that way I suppose but she does need some help getting the ult up that is.

Legit, noelle is easier to gear then atk only based characters. You can stack a lot of defense and pop her out when ult is up and go to town on just about anything for 15 seconds. Also burst heals entire team as well. Circumvents a need for barbara as backup if you don't want a standard healer as well.

A solo carry I gotta say, She deals a ton of damage(converted from defence), takes too little damage and heals it back. You can use just Noelle only as a solo secondary team in Spiral Abyss if you don’t wanna invest on many characters. If you have max constellation that is. I don’t too, and so I don’t use her.

A full support lvl 70 ninguang with the 48%atk on switch book and the atk% boost for all the party members when bursting set can use her Q, then use her screen, swap to Noelle with a ridiculous amount of ATK% bonus and if you run through the screen with noelle, you get 15% geo damage plus the 15% damage increase while shielded from having 2 geo characters in party. Even without c6 unlocked for noelle, that duo slaps
